About Band of Pirates
Note: In some instances, this group is referenced as "A Band of Pirates", adding the first article. Formed in the Fall of 2005, aBoP has played a handful of shows to very enthusiastic reviews. In August and September of 2006, they recorded a five five song EP. In November and December of that year, they recorded a four song Christmas disc. Shortly after its release, they decided to end the group. After the announcement was made, Chicago radio stations began to playing some of their material.
