About Backroad Bastards
The Backroad Bastards are a band formed on the Eastern shore of Maryland. The band was originally founded by Drew Evans and Paul Sanyshyn who were originally starting a traditional outlaw country band. once they recruited Rich Schaffer as their drummer the double bass and agressive galloping and blast beats came into play. Bringing Drew and Paul back to their Hardcore and punk rock roots. Described as hardcore cowpunk because of the mix of country guitar riffs
