About Babygirl
Toronto dream pop duo Babygirl—co-founded by Principal songwriters Kirsten Clark and Cameron Breithaupt after meeting at Humber College’s music degree program—combine their knack for pop melodies, sardonic lyrical wit, and elevated lo-fi sound design to create records that have garnered international critical attention and half a million streams on Spotify alone. In August of 2018, Babygirl released their sophomore EP Lovers Fevers. Its second single, “Soft”, premiered via Stereogum, who characterized it as “impeccable”.
