The stellar blues names here include Elmore James, Boyd Gilmore, Houston Boines and Drifting Slim. by Chris Bentley Released just before this wonderful summer, "The Modern Downhome Blues Sessions Vol 1" (CDCHD 876) attracted impressive reviews.
