About Babak Nemati Quartet
The Babak Nemati Quartet consists of openminded, experienced and highly experimental modern jazz musicians from Switzerland, Spain and Iran. Shortly after the group was founded in early 2011 by Persian leader and guitarist Babak Nemati in Zurich, Switzerland, the four dedicated members found themselves locked in a recording studio, creating their first album with seven original compositions. By September 2012, Seven Good Wishes had made its way into the catalogue of the Swiss jazz label Altrisuoni.
