About Babak Nemati
Babak Nemati was born in 1976 in Tehran, Iran. At the age of 8, he moved to Switzerland with his family and, upon turning 14, took up the guitar. Having initially taught himself, Babak started to take classical guitar lessons and subsequently began to explore different musical styles such as blues, rock, funk and pop. His main influences were Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and James Brown. After gaining some experience with school bands, he founded his own ensembles.
