Augustin Reinhard Stricker (born between 1675 and 1680; died in Heidelberg in 1719) was a German Baroque composer, singer, and Kapellmeister whose career moved through several courts, including Berlin and Köthen. He is documented in Berlin court service from 1702, later became Kapellmeister at Prince Leopold of Anhalt-Köthen’s court (before Johann Sebastian Bach took the post), and is associated with stage works for Berlin and Neuburg as well as a 1715 printed collection of Italian solo cantatas (Opera Prima).
