About Atomic Hoolagan
Formed in 1997 by Ryan and classically trained violinist Matt Welch, Atomic Hooligan has been releasing a steady stream of 12-inches since 2000, including massive remixes of Underworld's "Cowgirl" and "Born Slippery." More recently, their reworking of Lee Coombs & Andy Gardner's (of Plump DJs) "Obsessional Rhythm" shot to No. 1 in DJ Mag's Breaks & Beats chart, and was a club staple through 2005. I'm surprised then when Ryan cheerfully shares with me one of the Hooligans' production "secrets."
