Ataratu is a singer and jungga player from Kampung Lakatakku on the eastern part of Sumba, an island in the Indonesian archipelago. She plays the four-stringed version of the jungga, which is a plucked lute. Ataratu sings in the language Bahasa Kambera. Her songs are often dance songs played at the stage of the rice harvest.
