About Astasia
The Isle of Man is as unlikely a place as any to spawn an eccentric musical duo, but college friends Aaron Cottam and Jacob Bennett did just that, forming on a whim in 2017. Taking elements from lo-fi electronic music and combining them with spacy guitar leads, floating bass lines and samples from film and other media, Astasia crafted a unique style that has been dubbed "Post-Hop". Astasia released their first single, titled I Need (Space) at the end of September 2017 and began working on an EP immediately after its release.
