About Ashcan School
Ashcan School is a Seattle band formed in 1995 and active until the early 2000s. A combination of psychedelic blues and rock with a Seattle edge. Synthesizers, searing guitars, Hammond organ, pounding drums and silk like vocals create a unique and haunting sound. The band was one of the earlier adaptors of MP3 streamable music and for a while in 1998 was the most downloaded band in the world, with even the Vatican streaming their music! Big in Japan
