About Asa Ransom
Asa Ransom is a band of five members living in New York City. Jacob Bills (vocal/guitar), Daniel Boivin (drums) and Darryl Specht (bass/vocal) met at college in Marion, Indiana in 2001. An unlikely group; the sons of preachers, professors, postal workers and housewives, found in each other a shared love of music and the mystery of the unknown. Leaving the tight reigns of their upbringings, and the school that banned them from playing their "dangerous" music, the three moved to new york city just a year after meeting.
