As Patient Stars Align was a band the formed in the later months of 2004, and quickly released a self-recorded, self-produced demo in 2005. The original members consisted of Steve Soly (vocals, guitar, keys), Shane Lundy (vocals, guitar, keys), Patrick Wright (guitar, keys), Orien Hunter (Bass), and Ryan Boney (Drums). As Patient Stars Align performed with some notable bands, including Boys Night Out, Motion City Soundtrack, and Blessed Union of Souls.
