
Artgeko was an American rock band from Lexington, Kentucky, USA. The group was based around the songwriting of childhood friends Arte Bratton (vocals, guitar) and Jeff Lyman (vocals, drums) and featured Kenny Owens (vocals, guitar) and Mike Lewis (bass). The band released two albums, 'Artgeko' (self-titled) in 1996 and 'Hurry Up And Wait' in 2000. The song "But Then Nothing" from their first album was re-recorded in 2005 for the soundtrack to the feature film "Keep Your Distance" which was directed by Stu Pollard.
