Art Schop is the alter-ego of folk rock musician, author, and songwriter Martin G. Walker. With Wolfswork Walker extends the possibilities of alternative rock to create a symphonic structure. The Wolfswork song cycle weaves current and ancient threads of history into a philosophical fabric held taut by the tensions of mortality and immortality. Walker was born in the north of England, near Liverpool. He studied Physics at Oxford University and began his musical career playing clubs in Chicago.
