Art By Machinery came together in Trondheim, Norway in the autumn of 1993. They released 4 albums so far: The first release, "Deus ex machina" which means "God as a machine" was recorded in Brygga Studio in February 1995. One year later they recorded their second output called "Melon", in which they introduced new instruments and style into their music: they used sequencers, computers and synthesizers. A video was produced for the song "Melon"
