
Arrows in her began as a solo project in 2007. The name is a metaphor for the turbulent life of Damian Chacón's mother who died of complications due to kidney failure. In late 2011 the moniker was taken up again, and the intention lyrically & thematically was to process the grief of losing your mother as a teenager, making sense of a bleak cruel world, and finding the will to continue existing, though not always wishing to do so.
