ARP44 are the journalist Mike Schmitzer (vocals, keyboard) and music producer Achim Kleist (keyboard) out of Munich. The story behind ARP44 goes back some 28 years. The two childhood friends, Achim Kleist and Mike Schmitzer were the founders in 1982 of the band "The Style" - one that first synthpop bands in South Germany. For 5 years thrilled the 4 member band audience at a number of shows with their own electronic compositions until 1987 when the guys decided to go their separate ways.
