Arnetta is the oldest of eight siblings, her parents, Bishop James and Evangelist Lottie is a great influence on her life. Raised in a small rural county in North Carolina, she loved singing the gospel. Influenced musically by the Hawkins Family, The Clark Sisters, James Cleveland, Yolanda Adams, and Shirley Caesar.
