The genesis of Apples For Archers began in the early summer of 2009. Chris Komsthoeft (A Day in Attica, After the Given) was looking for musicians for an unrelated project when he met and auditioned Kevin Rowell (The Brian James Band, The Cronus Conundrum). Chris and Kevin found that they worked well together, and after a few practices they expanded the band by bringing in Kevin’s former band mate, Brian James (The Brian James Band). The trio quickly developed new songs and the search for a drummer was on.
