Appellative is the solo project of Zachary Wattus, from the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Blending influence from Cloudkicker with post-rock tendencies, his compositions are densely layered and built on a “repetition legitimises” ethos. Zachary began releasing music as Appellative with his debut EP Daybook. in August of 2012 on Bandcamp as pay-what-you-wish download. Its four tracks were written, recorded and produced in one sitting on the day they were started.
