Apocalyptichaos is a death doom metal band from Goiás, Brazil formed in 2008. They started the band with the propose of doing heavy music, full of feelings and obscurity, totally influenced by bands of Doom, Dark and Death metal. In the year of 2010, after release their first work, the single ''Nemesis'', Apocalyptichaos won as the best band from the month of November in a competition made by a website focused on the underground crowd, and, after that, they won as the best band of 2010, reaching 8,000 votes from the popular jury.
