Antriarcha (formerly Antriarch) is an improvisational fusion jazz / black metal / noise rock duo from Olympia, WA. The band was formed by natasha dawn (Mother Excelsia/Mothxra Xilsxua, TRON MAXIMUM, solarinception, The Horizon of Silence, Dawn/Shannon) and Miranda Rae (City of Embers). Antriarch does not traditionally write or perform standard definitions of music, instead choosing to write songs on the fly as they perform. The band emphasizes the fluidity and unexpectedness of expression over rigid and predictable structures.
