About Antonio Rotta
Antonio Rotta (1495-1549) was an Italian lutenist and composer. He was said to be an excelent lutenist and exceptional teacher. Rotta published ‘praecepta notabilia’ for playing the lute as appendix for the his Intabolatura (Venice, 1546), ‘Regula alli'.
