Anton Ferdinand Paris (born 19 February 1744 in Salzburg; died 1 June 1809 in Salzburg) was a Salzburg composer and organist whose working life was embedded in the city’s court-and-cathedral musical institutions. The Österreichisches Musiklexikon records him as the son of the Domstiftsorganist and teacher Joseph Georg Paris (c. 1700–1760) and the singer Maria Katharina (née Michl), and it notes that in 1762 he succeeded his father as third organist
