
Anselmo Fazio (Castrogiovanni , second half of the 16th century - first half of the 17th century) was a Christian monk and Italian composer known mainly for his opera “Sacrarum cantionum quinis vocibus decantandaru”. Anselmo Fazio or Anselmo di Fazio or Anselmo di Facio or Anselmus Fatius was an Italian composer born in Castrogiovanni, today Enna , in the second half of the sixteenth century , who died in the early seventeenth century . He was an Augustinian monk, he was active in Sicily from 1589 to 1628 .
