Anne was brought up in Wales, lived in France for two years and in London for rather longer but now lives and works back in Wales again. She's been writing songs for as long as she can remember, and performing in folk clubs, at festivals and all manner of other venues. Her songs draw from myths and legends but put a contemporary twist on the stories - they've been described as "the iron cosh in the velvet glove". Anne has toured in the UK, the US and Ireland, and is known as a storyteller as well as a songwriter.
