About Anna Serafinska
Born on 9 November 1974 in Poland, Anna Serafińska went to Music School from the age of 6, where she studied classical violin for 12 years as well as conducting. She studied jazz singing, vocal performance, composition and music arrangement in The Department of Jazz Music of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. She holds a MA in Jazz and Popular Music Studies – vocal PhD. in Vocal techniques. Upon completion of her MA in 1997, she took up a teaching position in vocal performance at the Academy.
