
Anja Lechner was born in Germany. She co-founded the Rosamunde Quartet and plays cello. They and she have made a number of recordings on ECM. She recorded Chants, Hymns, and Dances with pianist Vassilis Tsabropoulos. More recently she recorded Ojos Negros with bandoneonist, Dino Saluzzi, also on ECM.
