About Anita Lane
Anita Lane (born Anita Louise Lane in Melbourne on 18 March 1960; died 27 April 2021) was an Australian singer-songwriter who was briefly a member of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds with Nick Cave and Mick Harvey and collaborated with both bandmates. Lane released two solo albums, Dirty Pearl (1993) and Sex O'Clock (2001). Lane began singing and writing songs at age 16. She was a classmate with Rowland S. Howard who would later form The Boys Next Door and The Birthday Party with Nick Cave.
