Play, Experiment, Enjoy!!! “Anima Popolare” officially came into existence in 2003: the idea was to create a musical group that reproposed the traditional folk culture of the South of Italy. Mariano Antonilli on the guitar, Giuseppe Karbo Di Pilla on reeds and percussison, and Giovanni “Joe” Ciccorelli on the violin. That was how it all started, but something was missing… In fact, in 2004, the singer and rhythm guitarist, Angelo “Veleno” Delli Carpini, joined the group.
