Angst Athens is a Finnish synthwave producer living in Helsinki. Coming from a background of blues, hard rock and metal through playing guitar in PLANISTRY, Angst Athens was the escape from the guitar-driven music; an exploration to the realm of synth-driven music. Their debut EP was released in spring 2017. The EP was an experimental piece, focusing on finding the middle ground between atmospheric melodies and progressive elements from the past of Angst Athens.
