Angela Zhang (Simplified: 张韶涵; Pinyin: Zhāng Shàohán; English: Angela Chang) is a Taiwanese pop singer and actress. Zhang was born in Taiwan and moved with her family to Canada at the age of 12. Although she enjoyed singing as a child, she stopped after a relative criticized her voice. In Canada, she resumed singing through karaoke with friends and began to recognize her talent. She subsequently participated in several singing competitions
