Andy Arthurs was a power pop/new wave singer-songwriter from London, England. He's best known his single "I Can Detect You (For 100,000 Miles)", which was produced by Martin Rushent and released by TDS Records in 1978. The song is often alternatively labeled as "I Can Detect You For 1,000,000 Miles" or by similar names, even though Arthurs sings "hundred thousand". Arthurs later worked as a producer for groups such as Stranglers and The Chords.
