Andrés Alfonso Vergara (born 1922 -Tlacotalpan, Veracruz, Mexico - 30 september 2010) was a musician of son jarocho, playing the "harpa jarocha" and "laudero". He was active in the golden age of Son Jarocho in Mexico City where he arrive in 1943 being part of various groups like Conjunto Tierra Blanca, Los Costeños and Conjunto Medellín. He build the prototype of the big Veracruzian harp which is still being used by modern musicians.
