About Andreas Fromm
Andreas Fromm (* 1621 in Plänitz ; † October 16, 1683 in Strahov ) was a German educator, composer, Protestant and Catholic theologian. Born as the son of the Lutheran pastor von Plänitz Andreas Fromm and his wife Magarethe, the daughter of the Perleberg superintendent Daniel Michaelis, he lost his mother at an early age. Supported by his family, he studied Protestant theology in Frankfurt / Oder and Wittenberg , where he obtained his master's degree.
