Andre Souligny is a performing singer/songwriter born in Stillwater, Minnesota in the late 60's. He started performing at Besaw's Cafe and on the streets of NW Portland, Oregon in 1989-90, then moved to Milwaukee where played the streets, coffeehouses, and bars with Peter Hoeffel as half of the duo "The Housewives". Andre's influences and inspirations include Joni Mitchel, Joan Armatrading, Van Morrison, CSNY, Ritchie Havens, Kevin So, Martin Sexton
