About Anal Surgeons
Formed by mistake in 1977, the Anal Surgeons were a six-piece best known in and around their native Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England, for their visually striking live shows (one song, Insect Beat, featured a giant insect being beaten on stage) which distracted audience attention from their limited musical abilities. Comprising Phil Seaton and John Cook (vocals), John Goddard (bass), brothers Paul and Tony Ingram (drums and sax respectively) and Mick Sinclair (guitar)
