About Anakhi
Surjit Anakhi was born and raised in Walsall. Wanting to follow his passion at the age of 12 gave him the courage to sing in front of the congregation at his local Gudwara. At the age of 16, he started to follow his ambition of music by, joining a group named ekta. There he played congos and drums under the influence of reaching his goal. He travelled most parts of England performing for mainly weddings and special occasions. During his time in ekta he started to understand the principles of singing.
