Trained in South Indian classical music at the age of four, her voice glides between tenderness and grit to convey empowering messages of self-love and social change. During her teens, Amritha taught herself Hindustani and Bollywood vocals, before discovering her interest in soul, jazz, and blues in her twenties. Amritha was born in Chennai, India, and grew up in Australia.
