Ammego were formed in the early days of the 21st century by 3 musicians who established new genres of music that few have had the musical dexterity to follow, such as Punk-Fusion-Rock, Shroomic-Psyche-Rock and Acoustic Hate Punk. The name of the band is an anagram of the initials of the names of the members; AM - Andrew Maguire (rhythm guitar, keys, vocals, percussion), ME - Michael Edmunds (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) and GO - Gavin Orr (guitar, vocals).
