"American Music Abroad is a name which evokes thrilling memories for over twenty-five thousand participants since 1975." In a nutshell, high school and college students from a handful of states are selected or audition to be a part of it. They can either participate in instrumental or choral music. The students tour various countries and cities in Europe, performing scheduled or impromptu concerts. For the 2006 summer tour, American Music Abroad did something a little different.
