About Amanda Homi
Amanda Homi is a singer and songwriter with a deep and genuine affinity for music from around the globe. Born in London of English and Indian descent, she has lived in various countries and currently makes New York her home. Amanda has sung Rembetika in Greece, written and recorded Reggae songs in Jamaica, studied Sabar drumming and dance in Senegal, and has sung and danced 'round the campfire with Gypsy Flamenco artists in Spain. Her new CD, Drumgirls, is a virtual musical journey around the world.
