alpha seven is an ambient music project steered (randomly) by Pete Roberts, which kicked off around 1993 when Pete started doing some unusual DJ/ambient installations with DJ Merkin at The Waterfront in Norwich. Why the name? Well - it's the name of Barbarella's spaceship and a CD player Pete had at a the time. Probably best known for releasing Great Lift Journeys of Norwich (1997) and Great TV Masts of the UK (2016) alpha seven tracks are available on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp.
