The latest band from the poet Derrick C Brown (who you probably don't know as the lead singer from the now defunct "John Wilkes Kissing Booth" out of Long Beach, CA). As the man labels it's "music for born again virgins and throbbing sissies". This is softer slo-core music than JWKB, but still comes with great lines, wit, and melodic hooks. Under the hood you can hear a Greg Dulli infulence in stories of revenge, egos, and reasons why everyone would die in his films.
