Alien In The Land Of Our Birth was a metal band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 1989 at Belmont College. In 1990, they won the Nashville Music Award's "Best Metal Act". Their original line-up consisted of vocalist Scott Upshaw Carter, guitarist Billy Loffler III, bassist Leo Grandados, and drummer Brad Elrod. Later down the band's career Leo moved out to Mexico and was replaced by Dale Witmer. After Dale left the group, he was replaced by Christopher Frey.
