Kyd's compositions have somber tones, often using long and melancholic guitar riffs along with post rock alternative influences to construct harrowing and often times sublime auditory pieces. Alexander Kyd attributes his name to the distinguished English playwright Thomas Kyd and, by extension, to all the great masters of literature written in English.
