About Alex York
New York City born and raised, Alex York grew up to the classic tunes of music legends David Bowie, Queen, The Beatles, and Blondie-all the while soaking up the fresh stylings of his own generation's pacesetters. Most recently, Alex performed at The Bamboozle Festival 2011, one of America's premiere music events. Music writer Tris McCall for The Star-Ledger, New Jersey's largest newspaper, singled out Alex among over a hundred talented acts and lauded, "Alex York of Manhattan is one of those young unknowns on the rise."
