About Alex da Ponte
Alex da Ponte is an indie pop & alternative rock artist from Memphis, TN. She started playing guitar and writings songs in April 2006 and in 2008 formed the band Yeah, Arturo. She released 2 EPs [HOWL (2008) and START A WAR (2010)] under that band name. Now releasing music under her own name, Alex has teamed up with Ardent Studios producer and bass player Pete Matthews, along with drummer Garrett Marshall (son of Hank Williams Jr.’s drummer Bill Marshall) and they are taking the scene by storm.
