There are three artists with this name: 1) Aletta (born Aletta Meijer) is a Rotterdam based singer and songwriter. Inspired by singers and songwriters such as Minnie Riperton, Tori Amos and Michael Jackson, Aletta started writing music as early as the age of 7, which were mainly instrumental pieces on the piano. In her early teens she started combining her poems and melodies with the piano pieces, and started her solo performing career in the late 90s.
